Bodhgaya is one of the world famous Buddhist pilgrimage places. It is situated in Gaya, which is tucked in the lap of the East Indian state of Bihar. This is where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. The main monastery of Bodhgaya was known as Bodhimanda-Vihara but now it is known as Mahabodhi temple. The main attraction of the place is the Mahabodhi temple and the temple has been coined as a world heritage site.
Buddha attained enlightenment in Bodhgaya under a Bodhi tree in the 6th century. This place is steeped in peace and beauty. The aura of the place is spiritual, ethical and highly historical. The Bodhi tree has sheer importance. The stone platform on which Buddha used to sit and meditate is known as Vajrasana. There are several other Buddhist temples and monasteries surrounding the temple. All these religious destinations have their own kind of architecture, designs, exterior and interior decorations of these places presents their countries. Bodhgaya is all about Gautama Buddha and all the tourist places memorizes Buddha only.

Buddha Jayanti is the biggest festival day of Bodhgaya as this is the day which is considered to be the big day when Buddha got enlightenment. People celebrated this with full vigour and fun. Goa Beach Tour

There are many places to visit Goa.
